At one time he was the manager of the Prescott Airport and was manager of the Douglas Airport. Was a member of the Prescott Elks Lodge; a life member of the Masonic Lodge; president of the Chamber of Commerce and was active in the development of the Antelope Hill Golf Course. Survivors included his wife, Mary Elizabeth of Prescott; a son, Marshall of Albuquerque, New Mexico; 3 daughters, Mrs. Joyce Fashbaugh of Midland, Michigan, Mrs. Jeddy Adkins of Prescott and Mrs. Mary Smith of Phoenix and 12 grandchildren. Ruffner Funeral Home in Prescott was in charge of the arrangements. Cremation followed the services at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Prescott.

On Monday he was taken sick, becoming unconscious almost from the first and died yesterday. He was about 75 years old and came up from Phoenix. A man named Vero came to the camp with him but could give very little information in regard to him or his relatives. He was buried near the wood camp.
