OBIT: Prescott Courier, 22 May 1969: Came to Jerome to play semi-pro baseball with the Jerome Miners in the Arizona League. Worked for the Santa Fe Railroad as a foreman for a bridge and building crew until 1935 when he resigned to enter highway construction work. He specialized in paving and moved a portable asphalt paving plant all over Arizona, parts of Nevada & New Mexico, paving air fields during WWII. Formed a partnership with his brother, Bill, know as W. J. Henson Contractors and engaged in highway construction until 1961. Was a member of the Prescott Gun Club, Elks Lodge, Yavapai, County Sheriff's Posse and Associated General Contractors. Was survived by his wife, 2 brothers, Art and Terrel; 2 sisters, Laura Canine and Mrs. Agnes Rackley.
